Contact inquiries

Preparing and reviewing an inquiry happens in your browser. The form does not save your entries in browser storage. If you choose website delivery, Cloudflare Turnstile processes verification data, including network and browser information. When you select “Send reviewed inquiry,” the reviewed fields and verification token are sent to the contact service. The service validates the request and sends the inquiry through Cloudflare Email Service to Dr. Layne at robert@layneip.tech, with your email address as the reply-to address. The contact service does not keep an inquiry database or log the inquiry text, address, or request URL; providers may process delivery, security, and operational data. An accepted response confirms that the email provider accepted the request, while mailbox receipt still requires confirmation. If you use your email app, your email provider and the recipient’s email service handle the message. Keep every initial inquiry non-confidential. Browser-based tools

The Evidence Manifest utility processes entered metadata and optional files locally in the browser. File contents are not uploaded by the tool. Exported files remain under your control. Unsaved entries are lost when the page is closed or reloaded.

Hosting and access

The hosting provider processes requests necessary to serve the site and may process security, access, authentication, and operational data. The site does not add advertising trackers, marketing cookies, or remote font requests.

Public-page measurement

Ordinary public pages use Cloudflare Web Analytics for page visits and browser performance. Its beacon sends page and referrer URLs and timing data to Cloudflare. It does not use cookies or browser storage. The beacon is excluded from the contact form, research workspace, portal, private previews, and pages opened with query strings or fragments. It is also skipped when a referrer contains a query or fragment, comes from the portal, identifies a non-measured page on this site, or includes an external full path. Supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals disable it. These exclusions mean the measurements do not represent all visits. No form text, research inputs, or selected file contents are sent by this integration. See Cloudflare’s description of beacon data for provider processing details.

Links to publications, official resources, and other websites lead to services with their own privacy practices. Copying a link or opening an email application is initiated by your action.
